What is the quickest way to immigrate from Belgium to the US?
A friend is interested in immigrating from Belgium to the US and we are wondering what the quickest and best way to do that.

This question is simply too broad. First, there are many ways to immigrate to the U.S. but not everyone qualifies for all of them so you need to figure out which way is best for your friend in Belgium. Second, there is rarely a quick way to do things when it comes to immigration. There may be a quicker way to come on a non-immigrant visa and then strategize from here about permanent residence, but again it would be impossible to lay out every potential immigration path in response to your post.

Marriage with a US citizen is the fastest way. Other than that, employment based immigration especially first/second preference or investor's visa are also fast.

There is no quickest and best way. All immigrant applications require either a family, employer, or self-sponsorship. Best way to start is to have a consult by phone and review the person's education, work experience, investment options. Sometimes the best way is to come on a nonimmigrant visa and later apply for permanent residency status once a sponsor is located.

That depends on so many things. If you have an advanced degree, and are recognized in the same field as your degree, get a EB1, that is absolutely the quickest way. Otherwise, consider investing 500k. If you have relatives of the first degree of consanguinity, ask them to petition you.

Immigrating, meaning obtaining a green card (permanent residence) is not quick. It requires a family member or employer to sponsor the immigrant. There are no exceptions to this, except the green card lottery. Visiting for a short period is easier and quicker to accomplish.
